Privacy policy

Last updated 30 August 2026.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Toys & Games Ireland, a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, 155 Townsend St, Dublin, D02 V274, Ireland. Contact us about anything on this page at theteam@customersupport.care.

What we collect and why

  • Order details. Your name, email address, delivery address and phone number, so the order can be picked, sent and tracked, and so we can contact you about it.
  • Messages. Whatever you send us through the contact form or by email, so we can answer it.
  • Site analytics. Which pages were viewed and roughly where from, so we can see what is useful. These load only after you accept cookies.

We do not ask for anything we do not need, and there is no account to create on this site: checkout is guest only. This store sells to adults; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Payment details

We do not collect or store card numbers. Card payments go to Stripe and PayPal payments go to PayPal, and in both cases the payment details are entered with them rather than with us. What comes back to us is confirmation that the payment succeeded and the order details attached to it.

Who else sees it

Only the parties needed to complete your order: the warehouse that picks and packs it, the courier that delivers it, the payment provider you chose, and the email service that sends your confirmation. We do not sell personal information and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets a small number of cookies to keep your cart working. Analytics and advertising tags are different: they load only after you accept cookies, and you can change that at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer. See the cookie policy for the detail.

Email

Order confirmations and delivery updates are transactional: you get them because you bought something. We send marketing email only to people who have asked for it, every marketing message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. That is what the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 require, and it is also how we would want to be treated.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as Irish tax and business record-keeping law requires. Contact form messages are kept while they are useful for supporting you and then deleted. Analytics data is held according to the retention setting on the analytics property and is not tied to your name.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email theteam@customersupport.care and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, tell us first and give us a chance to fix it. If you are not satisfied with how we handle the complaint, you can take it to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Overseas storage

Some of the services we use to run this store, including hosting, email delivery and analytics, store data on servers outside Ireland. Where that happens we use established providers who are contractually required to protect the information they hold for us.
